About the Course
One day a year access has been granted by Mt Linton Station so that entrants may ride, run and walk these farm tracks and forestry roads.
This is an off road event over private land and a unique opportunity to experience the incredible vistas of Western Southland and the Takitimu Mountains. As with biking in any off road areas there are numerous unmarked hazards. If you are expecting a sign at a pothole, a marshal at every water crossing or tape on every descent, we suggest you may feel more comfortable entering a city event.
Please note that you will not be able to ride the course before the race. If anyone is caught out on this private land it could jeopardize the race for everyone.
